I have always wanted one of those systems that wen i pull up at a red light the people in other cars can feel the bass in their car. Financially i have never been able to do this i finally set aside some money but i was just wondering would 1 Alpine 12" type-r Dual-Voice-Coil 4-Ohm Subwoofer be able to do what i explained or probably not?

 

maybe in a civic or smaller car it could be pretty loud. a pair of type r's in a big car like mine (a lumina) do well enough with 1000 rms. but u wont rattle houses or do hair tricks lol with a single R.

mtx 9500 and type r are comparing apples to oranges...basically man...get some power to this sub build an awesome ported box and **** out....it should rock

for an amp somewhere around 250 if not less. hopefully ebay it =/

 

remember you dont get warrenty with ebay if your ok with that go for it personally i love the rockford power series. 2 t1s running off a t5002 ROCK lol but thats my opinion
