there is a guy selling a great Rockford 800a2 for an amazing price do a search it will run that sub bridged at 2ohms all day long I had one a few years back running 2 Planet audio Big bang 15's worked really well.

yes that amp can power at sub, I myself run a single 12" Alpine Type R. Just make your box around 2.25 cubes and tune it to 30 - 35 hz and you should be more than happy with the sub.

That was the old l7 and of course mtx is gonna make the L7 look bad.

Seen this test in real life at CES and yes it was the first gen L7 but the 9500 has had changes in the past few years too.

MTX is notorious for trying to make other brands look bad to try to improve sales, good thing most people aren't that naive to fall into the trap

I think its more other companies make stupid claims about output and RMS power handeling and MTX likes to prove them wrong.
