WTF: quick troubleshoot
had my stereo going really nicely in my car for a few weeks although it wasnt fastened into place firmly yet.
anyways, my subs stopped pounding so i checked it all out and rewired it all up. seems i cant put any signal threw my rear channels on my PPI450. the amp is in mint shape and it worked fine.
there is minimal noise coming through the subs, but only when i have signal running through my comps up front.
what could have triggered this? what solutions do i have?

I dunno, try swapping your front and rear RCAs and see what happens. Or switch around the speaker wires so that your rear channels are powering your front speakers. Then you could at least narrow down the possibilities...
i put my front RCAs on the rear and i get nothing. i put them back up front and i get minimal noise coming out. the subs are on, but not putting out anything.
the gains are working, i can crank the rear gain and i get the subs to get louder but still not audible...
it has to be the rear RCA connectors.
