Hey guys

I hear everyone saying how the xxx15 is such a loud woffer and hot it hits lows verry well. but ever sine i bought mine ive never been really thrilled with it it seems like my 2 old mmats pro 12's played louder than this thing. I'm powerin it with a old kicker zr1000 and it's in a 4 cube net box with 58"2 of port tuned to 33htz the car its in is a 89 fleetwood if any of you have any idea's to make this thing soud better id be really appreciative.

There's no replacement for displacement. 2 12's will move more air then 1 15 will, it just depends on how they are built and powered to make them louder or not.

Well the two 12s obviously have the cone area advantage, so that's something to think about. I'd imagine a lot of bass is being lost in that boat of a car. You could try sealing off the trunk and aiming the sub forward.

Id make the box slightly larger and crank the port area up to 75sq"

The xxx15 is fairly close to the output of the DD9515, that of which i've owned before and i found it has a better response at around 35Hz rather than lower.
RE likes their box's gianormous
