I can recommend the Pioneer Avic-920BT looks good (very modern), is easy to use (yes even my wife can use it), GPS is solid, sounds great!!
Another feature I like is there is no moving screen (CD slides in and out above screen) and it is reasonably priced for a NAV unit

 

Getting the Alpine INA-W900 would be a good way to go.
But make sure you shop around
