Well if it was me man I would Get a bigger sub like a 15" or a 12". I think a simple 2 ways component set would be good, and for the rears I had better speakers than the fronts....I don't know why I did like the sound tho. I love the sounds I get out of my pioneer 6x9's so just fine a speaker you like and get it. I heard from somewhere that speakers are one of the most personally thing you can get.

Don't go with a 15" sub as some people suggest. In my opinion a nice 8" sub with lots of watts is perfect. Why would you want a 15" sub (most sound like crap)in your car anyways? Unless your competing spl.

I already ordered an elemental design 8" sub...

cant wait !

you should be very happy with those items .....

the ag75 will feed the e8a 350 watts at 8 ohm mono (the 750 won't handle 2 ohm)

it should pound nicely .........

I'm feeding my 2 e8a's 350 watts each in ported .7 cube boxes tuned to 30 hz and I love em .............I got em lowpassed at 50hz

I nice 3 way front stage such as the JL XR set should round out the system nicely

I'd skip the rear fill all together

The AG750 amp I have is 2ohms stable. The e8a4.4 is dual 4 ohms, which makes it a 2 ohm configuration on the amp, no ?

oh ****..I just saw this... http://www.speakersound.com/index.ht...talog23_1.html

How will the amp work with my sub ? 350x2 @ 2ohms stereo ? Or can I bridge the amp ?

You could do that, but what are you going to do with the other channel? Hmm...I foresee another 8A!!!

You'll probably get pretty much the same power between 8 ohm bridged and 2 ohm not bridged.

Try hooking it up both ways and see which you like best. Should be easy enough since the 8A has push-spring terminals.

those amps are 2 ohm stereo 4 ohms mono stable

dual 4 ohm coils gives you 3 wireing choices

parallel coils for 2 ohm mono or series coils for 8 ohms mono

or you can wire 1 coil to each channel for 4 ohm stereo output (essencially the same as 8 ohm mono)

so your amp will put out 350 watts rms to that sub wich will be enough , trust me .....

</font>
I'm confused immensly ! How will I run my e8a in 8ohms bridged if it's a dual 4 ohm sub ????

What dodgeram said. Wire the VC's in series.
