A local store has a Zapco Symbilink for sale and I'm curious about it. I'm looking for an RCA to XLR line driver (unbalanced to Balanced actully). Would it be possible to use the Symbilink transmitter and not use the reciever. Instead use the output of the transmitter (which is balanced) to go directily into my DSP (which accepts balanced inputs)? I think this might be a long shot, but what the heck right!!??

Any thoughts??

That wont be a problem. But will the unit come with a diagram of the connection for the symbilink cable so I can tell what wire is what?

If you e-mail this question to Bob Rugani at bob@zapco.com, he will send you a diagram to build your cable.

That is what he did with me when I asked about how to wired my Eclipse deck with balanced out to my Zapco amp via symbilink and without the transmiter.
