Dual 4, so you can run it at 2 ohms, and get full power out of your Kicker amp.

ok thx wuts the advantage of 2 ohm?

if you get a dual 2 ohm config you'll be able to run with an amp at a 1 ohm load. Really no advantages of either . Just depends on what amp you plan on getting and if it will run the recommended power at whatever impedance your sub is wired to.

Subs have to match the amp.

If you get the KX1500, you need two dvc2 to get 1500 w rms @ 2 ohm.
If you get the TX1505D, you need two dvc4 to get 1500 w rms @ 1 ohm.

Oops, sorry. Hit submit twice by mistake.

If these are your choices of subs / amps and do not want to go with something better then in this case ...

1 x dvc 2 ohm on the 1500

jerod187 07-31-2007 05:35 PM

well what would you suggest for a reasonable prics for something thing that would be as good or better?

Sound_Deamon 07-31-2007 08:03 PM

depends on what your budget is like .... i'm sure you can find better ... let me know i'm sure i or others can help you choose
