ok i have a focal 27kx in a sealed f/g 32L box in my suv the amp ins a 500.2
the box is on the side of the suv you can see it

the best i have hit is 130 for full sq i need 135
would it be the box or the sub ?

try taking it into a shop to see what they say...

I had a 33kx sealed with 800 watts and never hit 135.
You might have to change your setup to get to the limit.
Some suggested trying a ported box but I never got around to trying

if i port a 27kx in a 32L box how big does the port need to be ?

 

I would definitely start out by porting that box

 

can you then tell me what the port would be for that box with that sub 32L with a 27kx focal sub ?

 

it should be in the manual that you got with your woofer...if not take it in to get a proper box made.....and then you should have no more problems....

 

where the sub needs to be it needs to be a F/G box
and some days it is fun doing it yourself
