im looking for opinions on amps for an 03 model immortal 15. i had the box designed for me by peter at maximun threshold and he suggested anything around 2000RMS. i have access to audison, clarion (actually thought about using 2 of there new DPX1001.1, one/coil@2 ohms), audiobahn, alphasonic, xsite, planet audio and probally more. any sugestions would be greatly appricated. im kinda on a budget too so if anyone could steer me in a general direction ill look for it used. thanks for your time.

which sub are you using?
quad or DVC?

either way use one or 2 of the A18001DT for the DVC or a pair of A12001DT Audiobahn Class D.... other use one of the Lightning Audio Storm X1.2000.1D Class D also

either of those will work awsome for you

im still waiting on the table saw to get fixed. im REAL excited to get it started too. how big is that angle u mentioned in the corner and the other corners too. thanks again for the design.

i dont wanna dump a grand on an amp when there alot of ppl on here selling high powered good amps at VERY decent prices. D2's for 350, someones selling a 2300hct audiobahn for 450. im still kinda on a budget. im saving for a house. you got anything lying around the shop? lemmeknow

got lots of amps..nothing cheap though...best/cheapest amp I have for sale USED is a MMATS d300hc..actually a pair of them..call me if you wnat a price..not too cheap but awsome power!
if you're looking for $350 from me...dont waste your time ...sorry the amps are worth more

not at all. ive just seen a bunch on here for around that. i have a friend here running a 15" jugg with a mmats and he swears by it. may even be the same amp. i want to buy the amp first and figure out if im gonna get the dual or quad. will a 2300hct be more or less power then the 18001dt. its HC vs d i know but u have MUCH more experience with audiobahn then i do. so far nothing has just wow'd me. thanks.

hehehhe....id personally take the 18001dt over the 2300HCT... at 12 volts the 18001 will produce sufficiently more power at 13.8 they should produce more or less the same...the HCT is VERY voltage dependant... although the 18001 dt will also increase in output as input voltage is increased...if you check pricing at work you might actually want to use the DUB1800d...you save aprox $50 at cost pricing over the a18000dt

my car at ignition harness runs 14.7-15V daily. yellowtop reads the same. at 1/2 the cost price of a 18001dt would the 2300HCT be worth my while. what about a modded D2 at 350?
