Amp blew fuses after changing box?

Iam runnign 2 12" kicker compvr's from a 600.1kicker amp. was running fine in my dual ported box. decided to goto a sealed box, its smaller then the ported box, but the system seemed to pound more. however today, when it hit heavy bass the amp cut out, and the fuses were blowen.

Could the box be to small? Gains arnt set high at all, there 3-4...

subsonic filter is set to ON.

Prolly a coincendence, but seems as thoutgh your amp is fried.
does it smell?

hopefully its not fried, it was just repaired less then 3 months ago.... no it doesnt smell...

what load should your amp be running at? did you fry the subs? they may not have like the sealed box...and fried...blowing the fuses in the amp instead of blowing the amp?

the box has probably changed the impedence the amp sees and is drawing more current

more likely the problem is that you want to listen to the music at the same sound level which would require you to put like twice the power into the woofers due to the sealed box loosing around 3db from teh ported box and therefore with double the power the amp is alot more likely to burn up fuses

plugged in fuse it keeps blowing them, looks like the same problem i had before, has come back to haunt me
