today I tested the Lightning Audio Strike 2000.1 amp running into an Audiobahn Immortal 15 AWIS15(quad 2 ohm coils - all coils parralel DC tested resistance 0.45 ohms)
The amp I was testing today did 3091.2 watts RMS(64 Volts and 48.3 Amps) sorry no current draw test ...yes the Lightning Strike amp with 15.5 volts input

At 12.8 volts input , the amp did pretty good also (53.1 Volts and 40.2Amps) 2134.62 Watts RMS...the birth certificate for that particular amp stated 2108.? watts RMS... their test voltage is unknown... the amp seems to produce alot more power as input voltage is increased

Nice to see an amp that puts out it's rated power! sounds like a pretty unregulated power supply.

Danny Britain down in the US made a "4000.1" by modifying 2 of these amps to work as 1 (not just strapped)

He said they do some crazy power. This is the first test I've seen of a 2000.1 so now I can believe what he was saying.

I will be testing all amps that i can get my hands on to see what is good to help us Canadians kick some *** at finals for next year... we're not loosing in the lanes... we're just not working hard enough to win

keep in mind that this amplifier does have it's protection circuitry removed...so I'm not sure how well an un-moded amp will handle in the lanes...either way I was quite impressed... after IDBL worl finals I will try to test the amp at 17.2 Volts input to see what happens...more wattage or KABOOM!...but before I test it at that voltage I have to inspect the power supply to see if it will handle 17.2 Volts.. I have access to even test at 18 Volts or higher...but it is pointless as we're not allowed over 18 Volts in the lanes
