Unhappy AmpliFire

so i was listening to the boss by rick ross which i fell in love with today, and on my second last delivery, my subs cut out. they have done it before, usually because my stock electrical system couldn't pump out enough constant voltage to power it through the hard hits. but then i turned off and on the head unit and then protect mode light was still on, usually i hear a breaker switch back and the amp turn on but this time nothing happened. so i turned it on and off again to see if i was just a one time thing. nope. so i turned off the sub on the HU and just listened through the speakers and i got back to the delivery, after they'd cut out, and my alternator was smoking so bad i could see it in my head light beam. so heres the worst part, i turned on my car for my last delivery, and the head unit turned on, which turned on the amp, and all i heard was a loud popping noise and saw a bright white light where the on and protect lights are. so then i left it for a few hours, then was driving my buddy and his girlfriend home, i have 3 front seats, so her knee happens to hit the source button, turns it on, POW! huge noise, and a bad smell. then i go party, try to forget about it, then go back to the car, turn it on, head unit comes on again, huge turn on thump which never has happened before, and then the spark, pop noise, them it just started billowing smoke. Im about to go insane, a load of bs has dropped on me lately and im smothered. please help me. its an american bass vfl 400.1
i think one of my grounds wasnt too tight, then i tightened it, and it was all good, the green light came on then it popped.
im ****ed.
so if anyone can help me get the only thing that brought cheer to my life back, i will do anything in my power for the information. if not, some piece of car is going on eBay

Yank it all out and throw it in the lake. Then get drunk. Sorry that's all I got. Oh, and no more installing your own .

Sorry to hear that, but a bad ground will do that everytime. Contact Nick aka " Mr.Americanbass" on this forum, he should be able to send it out to American Bass for repair.

Your mail box is full!!! lol here is the reply about the interior paint You asked:

I dunno about the link... i got a source of info being one of my step bros friends... so If it comes to vinyl You need a vinyl and fabric pain. You can pick it up at Canadian Tire if You need black, I was trying to hunt down bright blue but with no success so far (do not order over the net, the product will get confiscated in most cases since its illegal to ship anything flammable- Canadian customs),.... if it comes to shinny plastic pieces, You may use just simple plastic paint you can get at home hardware(nice bright colors to choose from), but if the surface its really polished and smooth You may want to use adhesion promoter (canadian tire). Hope that helps.

Luke.
