im not a street guy in any way!, but ive been tunig a friends crx and have seen what it takes to be loud with one......sound deadener.......your best friend with that car, you will need to test with every layer "maximum 2 layers or 4mm" on every pannel. dont cheap out, its gunna cost you a bit of coin for all you will need "use the stuff with the tin layer over the rubber like dynamat extreme or brownbread" it will give you the most gain without even touching the audio part of things.

get a strong AGM type battery 800cu" or less and many runs of cable "to reduce line loss" next is the box.....totally up to you but subs forward and flared ports back will do best.....Be creative at that point!

good luck

see, there ya have it from a street guy......and look forward to stock-pro class in iasca if you wanna get loud. stock class only allows 1 run of + oguage to each amp, which sucks!

i have a very good friend whos the rep for dynamat, it will be well damped, i have a question though for you spl guys, is it more important to tune the box to the car or the box to the subs?

heres another question for the splers out there, could you not find the resonance frequency of the car with pink noiise and an rta, and then build the box tuned to the resonance frequency of the car?? or is there more to consider, i have seen many crx that burp at many different frequencies to get loud....
