anyone know wat works best in this car , i need ot buy a damn tl meter. then ican figure allthis stuff out lol. in an rsx , would a crx style box work best or subs and port facing up towards the glass ?

its really really hard to say what works best....id guess both facing up though...using aeroports. but there are so many variables.

if you want SPL you'll be building yourself atleast 5 boxes im thinking

igot no problem with building 10 boxes even i just want to find our proir to save me some trouble and time , time isnt on my side. ithink im gonna use 2 dd 9512s but ill buy 3 and keep one for a spare.and buy a z1. next stop is to find a damn battery lol.people say yelloptop group 31 and other people say others . i needto know the regulation about the battery placement under the hood. are u allowed to make some space around the original location to make the battery fit at all ? hanks for all the replies guys , helping allot

rsx is easy to get loud, there are a few box designs that work very well in that vehicle. give me one good 12 and that DD Z1 amp and i can show u ATLEAST a 148 in that car.

as far as the battery u are only allowed to hack your battery tray. u cant make any other 'space arrangements' to fit in a bigger battery.

build a box that is 1.2cubic feet with 2 4" aeroports around 12" long sticking out the back...one box for each sub

thats tuned to 61 hz , i think thats a lil bit high for my car. could be wrong though. also thats only 25 sq of port , aint that to little for spl ? for 1 12? thanks for your input mate.

i can pick up 2 dd new ss 9512s duel 1.5's and wire them down to .35 ohms for 700 . not bad i dont think?
