well for those of us with a budget lol, the 3000.1 is sold localy for a dollar under 2k..i might enter the odd comp, but this is mostly just for daily. What pulled me over to bassworx as someone mention to me, bassworx has a good warranty. it also depends on the price of the 12.4's is there better then what the atomic dealer quoted me for 2 subs and an amp..theen..ya.

I have a bassworx 1200.1, not overly happy with it, especially with the price(799 plus taxes just over a year ago) plus you have to buy the bass controll seperate, whitch was another 50 plus tax. I only got a 1 year warranty too. how is that overly good? It shorted out finally after just after the warranty was up, it was pushing 2 12" alpine type r's at 12.4-13V, (previously pushing a single 12" L7), so there was another $80 for repairs. seen better amps for the $. I probably wouldn't buy another one, especially new... on the plus side, my repair guy said it was a very well made amp on the internals, good soldering, big coils, etc. I guess my biggest complaint is the cost....

...
2grand for a 3000 watt amp is a sweet price if you live in 1999. With all the huge power amps out there today you would be retarded to spend that much cash on that amp. You can buy a used DD Z1 which is obviously a way sweeter amp for a grand. If the money is burning a hole in your pocket get 2 DD Z1s and you will be pounding rediculously. Or if you don't want two amps (cause you wouldn't really need 2) then spend the extra $1000 and get some decent woofers.

First off
If you think that you can smoke these with 1000Wrms daily you did something else wrong. Because my guys are not nice on there gear and they had it cranked whenever they can. Also using a few different makes of amps. So not sure why they went. BTW was that 1000 between the pair or each. Just to clarify my customers ran 1500Wrms to each.
Second
I figured out your issue.....it was your dealer. ALL BASSWORX GEAR IS 2 YEAR OVER THE COUNTER EXCHANGE. If he only told you 1 year it was a money grab as was the price you paid.
The 2k for the 3000 is full MSRP same on the 1200 mentioned. Shop around a good dealer will cut you a deal if you are buying subs and amp together.
I have not had one piece of Bassworx gear returned due to failure. And most of my customers were 80% self installed. Not all issues are the manufacturers fault. Its hard for some to look at themselves as the problem. ( Not saying you guys are ) but please remember we are all human.
i ran 2 at 1000 rms on daily and the smoked out my car after runnin for 4 months... but are these peple actually useing them turned up loud enough so that they are actually getting 1000 watts or more? beacuase i kno mine were getting close to 1000 watts and they fried
