who cares if its new or used its an amp there are no moving parts it either works or it doesn't I don't care about over the counter exchange because bottom line is if you buy a quality product and use it as recomended it should never blow up. If you run a Z1 as recomended it will never need a warrenty because you will have no problems, the people that blow these things are running them at like 0.25ohms

You can buy a used DD Z1 which is obviously a way sweeter amp for a grand. If the money is burning a hole in your pocket get 2 DD Z1s and you will be pounding rediculously. Or if you don't want two amps (cause you wouldn't really need 2) then spend the extra $1000 and get some decent woofers.
Tom, u just kill me man lol. leave the kids alone in their sandbox, u should be ashamed!

12.4s are great until the baskets break and motors fall off. I think they have around a 60% turn-around rate with the alberta guys.

What pulled me over to bassworx as someone mention to me, bassworx has a good warranty. it also depends on the price of the 12.4's is there better then what the atomic dealer quoted me for 2 subs and an amp..theen..ya.
bassworx is sure charging you alot of money for that amp

for the Atomic amps they are only $0.40 a watt and this is true rms power
AT 3000.1 is $1200 brand new

I would get Atomic over other brands

its worse then that I think, I have had 3 broken baskets, 3 motors come off, 1 burnt coil(running a vr4000d to one in a high tuned box daily) Corey has broken 1 basket and had 1 or 2 motors come off. The good thing about Bassworx is that they are meeting with alot of the dealers and finding out ways they can improve the products and new ideas for bigger badder product. The question raised about the motors falling off is the paint on the baskets/motors, the glue they use should work but it might not be holding on there because of the paint. I guess we shall see what they do to fix this problem. I dont think the amount of box flex I get is really helping the problem. After about 3 weeks of having them in my box has been destroyed. When I get all my stuff installed in my new truck ill be doubling the baffle and making the box stronger so it wont flex as much and see if that helps the problem. They do get loud ill give them that, some are lemons so are good its weird. The 4 I had replaced awhile ago I had them in for quite some time without having any problems then one of my baskets broke, then I later discoverd my baffle was cracked, my baffle was comming off the top of my box despite being screwed in and resined. For the price and warrenty you cant go wrong, I have had Atomic and DD and I personally havent had good luck with them either. But with Bassworx if there is a problem they will fix it for you, not expect you to pay for it to get fixed. I wont take anything away from Bassworx, I know they are trying hard to expand and make some good product. It seems like it was just yesterday they were only selling boxes now they have a whole line up of subs, amps, wiring and more. I know I will be sticking it out for awhile with my 12.4s.
