AUDIOBAHN AW1006T for spl comp?

hey all i got a deal for a brand new AUDIOBAHN AW1006T 10" DVC 4 ohm 900rms 1800 peak

i am gonna be powering it with a good clean 800 rms and in a 2.5cuft 32hz box. any one have experence with this sub????

I dont have experience with the sub, but if it is for competing, you are likly going to want to port it a touch higher.

Personally i heared those subs and they suck *** my buddy had one and cooked the motor in 2 weeks roughly. but i do like the looks of them.

i currently have 2 12" AW1206Ts running off a single Hifonics BX1000D and hit 141.1DB on a TL in a ported box tuned to 40Hz and thats with my volts dropping down to 10V on good hits(stock 93 4 cyl electrical system in a 4dr cavy)

if its for the cavy in your pic those type of jbody vehicles tend to like 45hrtz.

Tupac, read the last part there man, you must be still asleep :P

Other then that, Riddle_rob has one 12" that was doing 143's all day long, until his amp went bye bye!! they aren't a bad sub, but there are so much better out there!!!

guessing ur talking about me? i hit 141 in my winter beater(93 4dr cav) while its basically the same generation the 4drs are alot different, but ill remember the 45hz for when a stereo goes back in my Z24, ive never had anyhting tuned that high though

MTA Neon had a pair of those he was doin almost a 150 on a mmats d300hc to them

and in the right box they sound really good too... dont knockem cause they got bling

rite now it is in a 2.5cuft and 32 hz and i have not put it on a meter yet but is sounds like ish!!!! it does not play anything like 60hz or higher it is like i dont have subs at anything pass 60hz but songs like get low by little john is just stupid the car flexs like hell but does not seem all the loud to the ear.
i dunno maybe a new box but i wanna get it on a meter soon b4 i rebuild the box i am thinking a tunin of 38-40 hz
