Well, Don and I started to build his aveo up, more or less out of boredom!
Raw box 2 digital designs z1a's and a shitty reconed sub tfone 18" box thrown together in about an hour acheived us a 151.4 @ kjohn show, No biggie

Well we have decided to work on this some more
About 1 more hour into this box, and one amp


not bad for an untouched box(yes nothing done to the box itself)
Just a slight change in port



sooo now awaiting a recone, a better battery, and more testing, we are shooting for a 54' db range.

and this is why the recone is needed!!

Well, seems you've got the right equipment and know-how. Think with tweaking and the recone you could break a 55?

 

cmon should be much, much higher.

 

Its a start. Find us some dual .7 coils for the sub man. This is all done at 1 ohm starting rising to 3.7 ohm with about 2900 watts no tuning or anything. We need a place to spend a few hours tuning.

 

More work to the box, better coils, and of course some deadener, this car is basically a pop can, which has held up very well as of yet...a 55 should be acheivable with the 2nd box in without a problem I think 54's is one sub..lol...
Believe me Don, Keiran, and myself were shocked, as our first attempt with one amp only raked us a 149.1 so we thought right off the bat a 150, and to hit a 51.1 with ease and backing it up consistantly without fail!! kinda made my day.

 

a TF ONE sticker on that sub would make it louder right off the batt. Imma get it to you guys tomorrow.

where's the frankin woofer ?

 

sitting in my storage, the 18"s is what don wanted to use, sooo we are building around them as a platform, the frankenwoofer is for sale.

 

If I was there it'd be louder. Just thought I'd let you guys know.
But I guess this means there is finally someone to run 49.9 with Joell.

What battery are you guys moving to? Or is it just a new one?
