I have seen many compettitors use them, they seem like a strong performer, i believe
sx4life has used or is using one.

It has a large case with barely anything in it.

If you take away the big case, you also take away a huge section of the heatsink and the amps ability to keep cool.....

it has such a large heatsink because it was designed to take the abuse for a long time without overheating. it's ot an amp just designed for burps. I had mine powering 4 subs at full juice with music for about 2 hours and no hiccups. It's smaller than the JBL/Crown monsters same power, and doesn't overheat.

And yet ive seen a stetsom 7k2d which makes roughly 3 times the power, is roughly the same size and it was not even warm after a 5 minute deathmatch run. Maybe if bassworx spent a little more time with r&d it wouldn't be so inefficient.
