I just put a cd together, show it to you after the comp ;)
That brings up a good question. Being a noob myself, does a 2x competition mean we have to use official cds? Something about no "test tones disguised as music"?

Menace 04-24-2009 04:38 PM

I would have to say, play song which match your tuning for your box.... a good song would be
Akon Feat snoop dogg. I wanna love you.
Usher - love in this club
Lady Saw - No long taking
Shabba ranks - Telephone love
Huey - 24/7/365
Flo rider - right round

how that helps

yes it was, ur always being rude

fresh1 04-25-2009 02:21 AM

bass mechanic by bass mekanik, can't go wrong with that. thats what i practiced with and used for my first comp, but then in qualifying i overshot in the last .5 seconds and ended with 130.0. i doubt i'm gonna make it to this show but for the next one i'm hoping to use his song wicked bass or heartless by kanye west. there are really tons and tons of songs, the trick is just find 30 seconds of a decent and consistant bass line and keeping a quick finger on the volume for on the fly adjustments. depending on your setup ie if you're tuned pretty low you can also use a song like da pack by rich boy...man i wish i could make it, i would have taken 129.9 for sure this time

DeadlySones 04-25-2009 04:35 PM

Thanks to all who posted songs .... I took many and put them all together. Even if I don't use any of them for Bass Race, everyone should compile this CD. Almost all the songs slam. It turned out to be a good CD. I added some Bass Mechanic and .... I like it.

THANKS EVERYONE!! :smilie_da

LaZyLuke 04-26-2009 01:55 AM

Well I donno bout bass racing but Da Blow works for me like a charm (lil ghetto music :/), Smack my bitch up by The Prodigy :] and SO SOLID CREW - Ride Wid Us (nice bass line about 1.5min- I think lol it was a long time, but the bass line is there somewhere :])

fresh1 05-21-2009 11:00 PM

just wondering if anyone has found any new songs to use for bass race. i've found 3 that i think are gonna work wonders. one is a new ace hood song called loco with the cake. the other two are top secret...but i will say one is a rap song, the other is classic rock :D hopefully i'll break them out in june at of the many bass race shows
