bassworx 12.4 subs
as of right now ive got a h.o. 200 amp alt, 0 gauge big three, 0 gauge to the distribution box,
0 gauge to a exile 2400.1 mono amp, 4 gauge to my other 2 amps for front and rear kappas,and 2 -10 inch pioneer pro subs of which one is on its way back to pioneer to be replaced or maybe not depending on what they decide. this will apparently take 3 weeks or more.
i liked the pioneer pros but didnt seem to be enuff for spl comp.
i was thinkin of getting these bassworx subs, the 12.4s , a guy that does installs and wins big at db drags says there great , no one else seems to be very knowledgable about them , i wanna upgrade fror the last time for a bit , so i want something that will rattle my teeth n win some rookie classes, anyhow any reviews or comments on these subs would be greatly appreciated thanx again

so bassworx might not be the way to go?
some one else said go kicker l7 but i really want to make a informed decision this time ,
like i said i got the exile 2400.1 , so in your opinion what woud be a awesume sub that will match up with the exile amp? im entering sound off on the tenth of aug,rookie class and i was going to go with the 12.4 bassworx Pat at in kamloops swears by them, butttttttt is there something better, im willing to spend 1000, thx for all your input

My 12.4 kill count is about 14-17 as of now, the only thing I like about them in 2 year over the counter. Double baffle your box they should be alright, I test them against type R's and they were quieter.

well here my results...
4 12.4s off 1 4k= 4 broken baskets, 5 motors off
3 12.4s off 1 4k= 1 broken basket, 4 motors off
2 12.4s off 1 4k(spl)= 1 cracked cone, 1 motor off
2 Type R off 1 4k(spl)= no problems and higher score
But I havent dailied the type r's.
The type R's are built better, but cant handle as much power daily.

Team Ricco I dunno what kind of abuse ur putting these subs through but the shop I worked at sells quite a bit of those 12.4's and Ive only seen one get killed...that was by a golf club in a trunk..so carelessness not daily use and abuse... they get pretty damn loud too in the right box... 146.2dB with a measured 680 watts
