Standard Battery - The dBDRA defines a "standard battery" as a battery that has a nominal terminal voltage of 12-Volts, consists of 6 internal series-connected cells, and is lead/acid or gel-type in nature. This battery is used as the primary battery in the vehicle (either OEM or an aftermarket replacement) and is permanently connected to the vehicle's electrical system.
so if there are no cells then this is not a legal battery for street.

Correct me if i'm wrong but Odyssey, Powermaster, Kinetik, they are all AGM type batteries and do not have six internal cells as they contain lead plates.
Lastley i have noticed that all these AGM type batteries are very similar it appears that Hawker manufactures 90% of all AGM batteries made then ships them to their feeder companys that rename and market them to be High Voltage Power Cells (catchy) at triple the price.
Look at www.batterymart.com under sealed lead acid batteries and note the similarities of there no name batts at a fraction of the price interesting.
Hawker must be laughing at the way people claim one battery is supperior to another just marketing genius.

EDIT
Battery Construction:
A standard 12 volt cranking battery has 6 individual cells. Each cell is designed to produce ~2.1 volts. The cells are connected in series for a total of about 12.5 volts. Each cell basically consists of 1 set of lead plates and 1 set of lead plates coated with lead dioxide submerged in a sulfuric acid electrolytic solution.
