where can you buy powermaster, hawker in canada?

im looking to start buying a few batteries for a daily beater (8-10kw) but so far having problems finding my first choices of batteries in canada, I found 31 yellowtops for $303 a peice

ill take all suggestions or info anyone can give me

just curious.. what do you look at when purchasing a battery ?
how many cold cranking amps? etc

green hornet sells the powermaster batteries plus alternators. also the group 31 optimas at costco are 168.00.

ive never seen a g31 optima at my costco, i guess i have to ask for them...

group 31 sized batteris are illegal in street A, im gonna suggest a northstar nsb2700g or nsb75, if you only need it for this season the nsb75 is the way i would go, its like 1/2 the price of the 1750

They do not sell group 31s at Costco. They sell group 34s - there is a huge difference. 31s a roughly $275-300. PM Green Hornet, the Powermaster have more Cranking amps and reserve cap. Like Citrate said - 31 are illegal, you have to buy a Group 27 or 31 to be legal in Street "A". 27 is best solution.

the reality of it is there is no "BEST" battery. get the cheapest one and work with it.

yea i was thinking they did not sell 31's at costco, the interstate dealer near me wants 303 a peice for them.

I think this is a good question. What does one look for when purchasing a batt? I only figured Kinetik because I've heard good things. But after making this post i'm looking more towards the way of a Hawker.

depends on the application, for daily you want large reserve (or for base race)
