cool. I like it. I was designing a similar box (relevent of the port style). But I ended up not doing the port like that because I thought it may end up being weak. BTW, what vehicle is it goin in and what kind of sub is that.

thats not big.... BIG is when a person or two can crawl into the box without working hard
trough the port or sub cutout

That would be a BA Inhuman 18.

The box is over 9 cubes and it is going into an SUV. My customer has asked me not to reveal any more info than that. He will be competing next year.

Other things that need to be done to the box:

- Tons of bracing (MDF and Metal)
- Another 3/4" of MDF on top for the baffle
- The port needs some resin coating
- Resin coating of all joints and corners

hehehe..yeah its big in its own little world...
I just recently built a BIG box for a truck with a cut-through outer dimensions 15.5x48x51 total of 17.6 cu ft internal the thing is a monster and a really good paper weight(around 500lbs with subs in it)... built using 3 full sheets of 1" MDF holds 2 15" Audiobahn Immortals tuned to 34Hz...aghhh 145.2db with only 1000 watts...the thing isnt even braced yet...but it sounds discustingly loud... it gives a whole new meaning to beach boomer... with the windows open it pounds out a massive 148.3db on the new term lab
and makes everything falloff my walls at the shop
