I am looking for new subs to use with my american bass 500.1

I currently have the solo x's but the sound quality just isnt there. I want something that can get hella loud and still sound good.

Looking for something to put in a cars trunk. And I will have a box built, i like the forward facing designs in coupes so you can flip down the rear seats and see some big bad subs.

Probably looking at dual 12"s, need something that can be wired to 1ohm rock stable. It's going to be a daily setup so I don't want anything less than rock stable.

Was looking at the RE XXX's or the BTL Fi 12. Can these subs handle 2500w rms each?

I do have decent electrical, odessey 2150 and 2 runs of 0 gauge.

 

i had 2 500.1's and 2 fi 18" blts and ran them daily. no issues till i ran them under port fq. LoL i dont see why 2 12s could not do the same in the right box. u will need to change your batt to something that can help produce power for that amp..

 

I don't think I will need to change batteries, the odessey 2150 is a top notch battery with amazing output. I may be throwing an additional yellow top under the hood, but that would be all. Yellow top under the hood and the 2150 in the back.

 

Soooo... a PC2150 isn't a sufficient source of power for one AB 500.1? hmm...

OP - If you haven't already, look into a couple TFOnes or AB XFL's. They like AB 500.1's. lol

 

why? why not keep it ballanced and get another 2150?

Run Fi or DC or something that's known for some sort of musical capabilities ...
If you're coming from a Solo X, then you're going to need something that hits, that's for damn sure.
