how about a Geo metro HB, or a Suzuki Swift hatch, or a Firefly. That 163DB "certified Radio" car that was at the Late August show in Calgary could have been any one of those just mentioned. Or of course, you could use a Festiva, like the one in the pic.

or even a festiva, like this one, yes that is a festiva, yes, that is a 32" woofer. check out this link for more info and pics. The car is for sale too

All I know is, is DO NOT buy a 93-97 mx6. They have a big trunk, but the opening to that trunk is so small and useless. Its almost impossible to stuff anything in there bigger then a wee little 12" sub and box. my box faces upwards, since thats the only way it can fit. Besides, who makes 6x8s anyway? hardly anybody. Amazing car, I love mine to death, incredible car, but horrible for a sound system. leave alone an SPL system. If you were to build a wall however... (^_^) I cant wait for mine. Its gonna be just like that black "Certfied Radio" Sprint

most companies do not make a true 6x8...they are usually 5x7 that have the holes to mount in 6x8 locations and they call them 5x7/6x8's ...and 90% or so of companies make a 5x7..or you can make your own plate and put ina 6.5" component set...just gotta work a little and you can have goos sound coming out of those 6x8 speaker locations
