I just read this post, there are some good point about taking pride in your work, as install wise, and apearance. In SPL Its hard to do both, look good and be loud at the same time, street class the most. I dont know what people think about our trooper but we still take pride in how it looks even tho its purly spl.

Yes your right! It can be done. Steve Cooks is a good looking install when he was still into it, imo the best install ever in super street. As well as the fusion van before they retired.
Some people say that all that time put on the outside for looks or at least makeing the back look presentable could spent on the inside, but I dont buy that at all.

trust me for what your truck does for # and the mods to the inside, it looks fantastic.... remember nascars look great to the fan, but inside its just a petty bar, switches and some pedals, not much to look at... at least your truck comes in clean and painted all one color!

Their number is just as nice as the inside and outside. The inside is a piece of artwork only a select few will ever understand. The outside oddly resembles a tank, with a weight only border officers have yet to appreciate.

Im gonna get a Hifonics brutus amp....(some guy here sells them.. I saw his add on Kijiji and he seams to have a lot of good stuff....) now I have no idea on what to get for subs,,, I have about 1000$ to spend on a pair or 12s or 15s with that amp to push them to the limit and that includes the box... dont know if I should make the box or just buy it... I have a 2006 ford fusion and I am willing to give up HALF my trunk for the box.... when Im done..... Ill give you a run.. lol kidding...

I used to live in NB and had a 87 transam,,,, got 148.9 DB with a ALL PIONEER car.. 4,12s premier(the silver ones they had back then) a dxp1r 2 gm802s for the subs, and a744 for the mids and tweets.. I had a sticker on the side of it saying "Gonna make some noise" and I was called the BASSTOY...
also had a 81 and that car was sick.... I burped 151 but the mic was in the rong place... hit 146 with music steady and hit 148.1 with a bass cd with the mic at ear level on passenger seat
