big three

well its taken too long but im finally getting down to running it all. i lazed around for a while spending money on other things but i figure i should really get around to doing that all
so heres the question
4 gauge or just start of with 0 gauge? to leave room for ALT upgrade?
and just wanna make sure i got this all down
power wire from alt to batt
batt to ground
alt to ground
those are them right?

setup is an orion 2500D pushing a DD 9515

Also do the engine block to chassis, normally it is just an 8 or 10ga wire.
I would do 0awg rather than 4awg.

Why do the engine block to chassis if he's already doing alt. neg. to chassis? Upgrading the engine block would only help the engine components, not the sound system.
