if I use body filler for rounding corners... how long does it take to dry?

ready in 10 mins if you put more harder. but it always shrinks more too. the more hardner the quciker the working time. wont sand easy for about 1/2 hour though. but i am not a body man and i only do it for spl projects. for autobody stuff, id probably go more by the intructions to make sure a good mix and a durable mix is made.

nah... not for auto body...

well that's quick enough.. I'll do it one night and sand it a day or two later.

Thanks!

it is quick. if you put more hardener, i usually can apply and sand 2 - 3 applications in a sitting. have a cheesefile(im sure its not called that, a grater) and remove excess with it adn apply more coats instead of sanding more. i usually do 2 to three costs with little sanding. or should i say lung shaking, throat clogging, nose pluggin coughing. can you tell i dont use a mask as i should.

hey Jordy... remember my last lesson on rounding?
use long strand kittyhair yes thats what its called... some 12" wide plasic weather barrier and some 4" PVC...
slap some kittyhair into the corner(enough to fill it and a have minimal excess) apply the weather barrier over top of the kittyhair..and then roll your 4" PVC over the weather barrier to round it off nicely...leave the weather barrier in place untill the kittyhair hardens... when it is hardened, remove the weather barrier and the kittyhair will look smoth and shiny..might need to use a cheese grater or an orbital sander a bit..but this is the cleanest and easiest method I have found for rounding the corners inside a box

If you apply the bondo give it a bit then you can use a body file to shape what you like that way you are not digging into it later with a sander,

Yeah, that's what I did last year Peter... I'm working on something a bit different so I'm not really sure that kittyhair is the way I want to go.
