I ran the two center speaker outputs from one amp to the other, the outside speaker outputs go to the positive on your subs, the two outside speaker outs from the other amp go to the negative on your subs. The inputs on the left channel of the first amp has to be inverted, and the right channel on the second
amp needs to be inverted.

Instead of bridging the 1000's internally I've bridge each channel to the other channel on the second amp. So one amp runs the positives and the other runs the negatives.

Probably just confused things worse.LOL

^ I understand now... you have each amps outputs in parallel and the two amps in series... very innovative of you....

On the otherhand I wouldn't recommend this unless you gain matched the outputs on your source so that the channels in parallel have an output that is within 1/10th of a volt or so from one other....

I was looking at these amps... I just got outbid for a pair on ebay in the last 25 seconds...

PAS mag tested one doing close to 1400 watts into 4ohms with 13.8V in, but they did not report on output into 2ohms...
Thats because they fried one of there PS's

i still dont understand how they claim it makes 2700 watts @ 2ohms while drawing only 210 amps on a 13.8 volt system

Now that I have the four Ultimate T3's pushing decent power I need to pick a sub for street C. My two FU15's have been fun but are no longer going to cut it.
I'd like to compete this year and would like help with designing this install.
I'll be using my sons 2001 Daewoo Lanos which I'll post picks of later today.
At this point I"m thinking a Atomic Apx18" quad 1.4 would work fine but open to other suggestions. As for batteries I was thinking of just a couple of Optima yellows.

Suggestions please.

its hilarious how they can just pick random numbers out of a hat for their power ratings and not expect people to catch on.

case and point...look at these power numbers taken off of ultimates page. Now the thing makes 2700 watts @ 2ohms on only a 105 amp draw with 13.8 volts going to it. Which makes it 186% efficient. NOW THATS IMPRESSIVE.

Yet another part of their site lists the power @ 2ohms as being 1200 rms

They do make a ton of power but I agree 210amps for 2700wrms is hard to swallow. I talked to the guys at Ultimate and it was suppose to have the amps switched between 13.8Volts and 12Volts, it was a typo. But if you talk to a rep today about them they still stand by the numbers. But still for the price they were clearing them out they it was still super inexpensive power.

As for the different specs apparently the site was completed when they got numbers from the manufacture and then they received the product and out performed the specs listed. So they came out with a tech brief. Please keep in mind this is the information that has been passed on to me by Ultimate and Erikson and not pulling this out of my ***. Im just passing it on. So please don't shoot the messenger again. As for this year no more T3 for North America or T1 only T2. They also have 4 HU's coming out 2 of which have 3.5" screens and play DVD and very affordable speaker line up as well as a T2-1000D amp which does 800Wrms at 2 ohms and has 3x30amp fuses. Rough cost is $369cdn the new T2 amps I have been told and have been testing will not have the same issues as the T2-1400 or the T3-500/1000. So it remains to be seen. But there is a bit of insite. Hopefully everything goes well for them.

.
yea ive heard that the specs on that pdf file from 13.8 to 12.5 volts should be reversed. But that doesnt make it any better lol. That would make their 13.8 volt specs atleast physically possible although highly unlikely but their 12.5 volt specs would still make the amp 152% efficient.

2000 watts @ 2ohms with a 105 amp draw on 12.5 volts.

So atleast one of those numbers are pulled out of thin air. Would be nice if they were real though.

Hey Trojan, why don't you also bench the t3-4075 while your at it?
There are 2 40amp fuses, I am wondering if they are just for show hehe.
