Would 1 15" with maybe 1000-1200 watts be loud enough for daily driving?

Trying to get together my plans for summer.

it would work dude, someone from back home is doin it with maybe a bit more watts in a ford thunderbird. 15" DD could hear him literally a mile away, and inside the building at work while on the phone with customers lol

I was thinking a Stroker 15 and maybe a JBL 1200.1

I have almost lined up a job at a Casino back home doing security..starts off at $18/hr so i can finally feed my car audio addiction.

The car is a 1976 Ford Gran Torino Wagon.
This pic is very bad, VERY bad. But it should give you an idea how how much room I have to work with here.

Something to get loud, yet haul my kayaks.

Ask Team Superior Sound if they think Station wagons can get loud. (Db Drag World record holders)
Well except they were using a Shocker 18" and just a bit more power. .....

Yes, exactly, so why ask?

Station wagons come a close second to HB's IMO.

Buy my stroker.

We're doing up a station wagon to run in SS1-2 this year. Gonna start off with 2 stroker 18's and one amp, tweek it then put some real power behind it.
