DRAFT 1

Pro No Wall

• No battery limi
• No capacitance limit
• No amplification limit

Competitors will NOT be divided based on the cone area


Other Regulations

• box height may not exceed 21 inches from the vehicle floor to the top of the box
• box has to be located behind the B-pillar
• all seats may be removed from the vehicle
• battery running voltage may not exceed 18 volts
• aftermarket alternators and batteries are allowed


SPL Measurement

• competitor goes through a 30 second run where that competitor's peak spl is measured
• microphone can be placed anywhere on the windshield
• windows may not be open
• doors may not be open
• trunk/hatch and hood of the vehicle may not be open
• competitors are permitted to use any recording materials at their disposal

I'm not arguing... I'm just wondering how you need more if most subs are 18" at the most. (I obviously don't compete in that class, so I'm asking for my own info)


That gives you a bit of room on either side to mount.

What would be an acceptable height?

25" is usually the max you can go for no-wall.
My box is 19" tall

Lee yhou only use 15" subs wait till you start using 18" subs there is no way you can get a decent box with only 21".

And this is "pro" dont make us use crx boxes that are pushed up to the B pillar.
