Canadian SPL League 2005 Rookie class rules: 3rd draft
yes that does ecourage cheater amps BUT there is a fuse limit. so if u have a cheater amp that really does like 3000 watts and u only have an 80 amp fuse, that fuse will blow durring a 30 second run.
also even without the power limits the cheater amps could be used.

why? there is no reason if we are going by cone area there is no point. 18s aren't that much louder than 15s so I don't see the reason for banning them...banning them would just make our rules as retarded as futureshops, if we use cone area there is no reason to ban any woofer that falls into that cone area class
Peter what do u think about the rest of the draft?
trk2loud, hmmm u could play in the Rookie 2 class if u disconnect 2 of your caps. U really do not need all those caps for that amp. One yellow top battery would do probably much better.
however there was a suggestion to remove the capacitance limit. what does everyone think

sure.... i'd say try it out.. not to many people go out and buy like $1000 worth of caps... if they did.. then but then comes the fuse rule.. only so much current etc etc...
