the other thing is that if you put a larger amplifier than your electrical system can supply the fuses will blow sooner than expected... this is because an amplifiers out put consists of voltage and current... when voltage is limited it draws more current to try and compensate... one reason why unfused amplifiers blow up when lack of power is present...also a reason why unregulated amplifiers produce more power when you run higher voltage into them say 16 volts instead of 12.6v

I should actually do some testing here on amp efficiency..compare class d to a/b and such...maybe see what the true story is about class t and class x... damn when I started it was all class a/b or a...PIGS on current but very accoustical because less loops..more of a warm sounding sound...kinda like the old tube amps ... time to quit this or I will not stop tonight...lol

What about putting some kind of rule in about pros competing with amateurs? That really bothers me when I see people who own a shop or people who get their stuff whole sale compete with people who really spent their own money.
Also I would like to see people compete with their own gear instead of borrowing each others stuff.

do you know what a noob is? well obviously no pros will be allowed to compete in that class... but yes you are correct... but in many cases hobbyists are louder than actual shop owned vehicles
what we are trying to do is to get the consumer classes more fair than anything else... to give even a small system a chance to win without having to spend a life savings

with the rules that these guys have in mind would actually it would actually make no diff if u are a pro or an amature. as long as u are not cheating eveyrone should be equally competative. so no worries man, u wont be goin against a system that u can not afford in a life time. everyone will get an equal shot

Yuli, ChrisB, Keyur... ect... all pay for their gear out of their own pocket and don't have a shop backing them.
