looks like im gonna have to drive out west to beat on you... im not a "tones" guy but I am the one that sat in your colt or is it tercel? forget..anyways at 2003 IASCA finals when you were playing Judas Priest and Iron Maiden [img]smile.gif[/img] ...now do you remember who I am ?

I will also admit that most ppl will be willing to help out a newbie to the sport as long as you ask questions in a respectable manner and dont be a **** on the board or an as$ in person at the shows... there are many ppl that have been in this for quite a while like myself,perfect tones & yuli to name a few, and many other guys here on a regular basis... there are also alot of new guys that have become quite commited to the sport , like yourself, that are always wanting to learn more

 

I've competed here and there, been to a few events in each of the past couple of seasons.
My word of advice is to go and ask as many questions as you can, and don't be a dick.
The majority of the people will be more than willing to help out.
There are a few ****** in this "sport" however, you will find out who they are, don't let them discourage you.
But generally the people who you will talk to on here are usually the good ones.

honestly, don't be shy about starting out. at first, you might not get the "big" numbers, but you'll go through a steep learning curve about car audio, then you will quickly get into the sport and before long you'll be on level playing ground with everyone!!!

the sport really needs some fresh meat, i mean new blood, to keep it going...don't be afraid to come out and compete...you gotta start somewhere!

 

Where is the show and how can i get some more info

 

we got our first invite to finals this year but we made it to volunteer only. long drive. but we are a heading down to SBN in april. We will be out and about here and there again with the West Coast dudes.

 

that's in florda right? dan i wish i can make it this year! i wanted to go sooo bad last year 2! i guess i'll have tosee about that!
