Since there was actually some interest in this tread I decided to start it up again. Let's keep it clean.
For those who asked there are 16 runs of 0 guage going from the front fender to point just behind the sub box. 8 wires are for power and 8 are for ground. The battery will be an NSB 90. The amps used will be 4 Soundstream XXX6500's and the subs will be 2 XXX 15's. Should be ready in 2 weeks.

can i sit in it when u burp it? :P

I guess I will have to prove I can do over 150db first. If it is at a show near you then yuo can sit in it when I burp it.

Aren't you a little worried about the cable passing through the sheetmetal with no grommet...or is it just not in the pics? Looks to be a killer setup...definetly won't have voltage drop through that much copper :D

I will pull the wire back out this weekend and I will trim the opening to protect the wire.

18's will be built and tried at some point.

that is a lot of wire....that thing is gonna push 150 no prob....

I will bring it up to the Bay for the August 26th show at Shark.

hehehe black positive wire and black negative wire without a polarity key color... nothing bad can happen. Terminate everything safely

Good luck with those 6500's, from what i've heard they are hard to get to work in Street/Street Max due to efficiency

What class are you doing.

The positives are already terminated with red ring terminals. Everything is under control.

I am told the 6500's work great on a 12 volt sytems. The XXX 10000 on the other hand needs 16 volts + to produce some real power.

that is some crazy setup man!!! After you do a break in, im sure you wouldn't have much of a problem with a 150hit,

With his own knowledge no he cant. With help from other yes it should do over 150. My car does 153 with 1000wrms but that is my car.

Richard, I think I counted about 20 runs of wire - I'm guessing 10 positive, 10 negative. What exactly are your plans? How many amps? How many subs? Will the subs be DVC or Quads? And what impedance on the coils?

Can you answer any of that, or are you keeping everything somewhat of a secret?
