here is a scenario for you. what if easteners already have certified score this year from going to a show in the states and say at the kelowna event no one beats that score. does that mean that eastener has to attend finals and beat their own score?? or would they just be declared a winner since no one from west beat the score at the kelowna show?

However, the winners will only be counted if they attend either of the 2 events. If you post a certified score of 196.7 dB's in Street Max 1-2, but don't show up to finals or Kelowna, then you don't meet the requirements of the contest and are not eligible for the cash.

hold on that was confusing. so if a westener goes to kelowna and does not beat a certified score already posted by an eastener the westener would still be considered the winner if that eastener with a higher certified score does not attend finals?

If an Easterner already sets a higher record, that must be beaten at the Kelowna show to be eligible.
