we werent talking about bad electrical. trust me i do undrestand voltage drops
what i was saying is that low frequency can cause the cd to skip your hu may have a very good suspension in it but the possibility is still there there are some hu that you can shake while there playing and some that you cant because they dont have the buffering and the suspension

if anything it would be the high frequencies, not the low ones.

by higher notes i mean 60hz to about 80hz or so. not trebble or anything.

Yuli, I have to disagree as well. If the electrical system is up to par and I am watching my rear view mirror vibrate uncontrollably, that same energy is also being released on the laser transport as well. If the cd player ability to dissipate that energy is compromised, skippity skip skip worse than two girls and a rope. If the unit is mounted improperly, this can also compound the issue. If the area surounding the cd player is weak, this can cause the player to resonate as well. At the end of the day though, even with proper voltage, it is entirely possible for the bass note, given the right frequency and amplitude, to cause a laser sled to skip.

hahahahahahaha.

i find that 99% of "cd skipping from bass" issues are solved when we run direct power and ground from deck to battery. magically skippin goes away.

me too i diagree with Yuli ...

my reason is ........ bof none i just want to disagree .... lol

on a more realistic note he is right on the fact of voltage drops causing cds to skip ... i had that issue in my crapavan that i had before and it was fixed after i fixed my electrical issues ...

but i still disagree anyhow ..... hehehehe
