yeah but 4 amps...

Father Yuli 02-26-2004 01:16 PM

good point

ShockingCanada 02-26-2004 03:17 PM

I put a 30amp relay on the remote turn on and a ground loop isolator on it and now it seems to be working...seems to burp and not flip out anymore. Not sure if it is cause of the remote or the isolator thing though...but I had 900xds before and they sometimes tended to spazz out without the isolator so I did both things and it seems to be working...ground loop isolators can be bought for like $10

he told me he had the protection cut out at idbl finals
i recall someone messing with his gains, and his charging not keeping up.
he borrowed some mojo's as well.
before he found the voltage drop.

perhaps at idbl finals he found someone who knew the amps well and was able to remove the protection. but before that he had exact same problem the whole season. we thought we took it all out but we didnt........i guess untill idbl finals.

mabe those amps like 16volt charging systems,or h/o alternators.something to keep the voltage at 14.4.
does anyone in alberta have one of these beasts, and have the same problem??i'm willing to help chase down this problem.
