ok i'm trying to get my amp to stop it's clipping!
I have 1 gauge running power from bat to amp, and also 1 gauge for ground also running to the battery! I have upgraded my battery ground as well! i have a optima yellow top under the hood so my voltage stay's fine! i have tried hooking up the rca's to my line driver, my processor, and straight from my deck, to see if either volatages are to high or low! all ways clip!
Now the clipping starts at a very low volume as well. I have tried the gain, and even at the lowest it clips!!! i have tried the woofer volume on the deck as well as gain, and bass eq, and nothing!! it still always clips no matter what!
I have also upgraded my Remote Turn on wire to 12 gauge wire attached to the 1 gauge battery power wire so it has some current to pull from, as i have been informed this competition amp draws more "amps" then the normal amplifer for some reason!! so that sould be fine!! Still clips.
I have tried ground the amp straight at the frame instead of battery! still clips!
The amp is rated at 2 ohms stable. But as it is a very large competition amplifer it has been tested to burp fine at under 1 ohm! i have tried wireing my woofers 1, 2, and 4 ohms! every way for music or burps still clips!
I have used my multimeter all day today and could not find a problem, anywhere! everything powers up ok, and plays at low volumes fine!! but as soon as you try and turn it up probably around 135db's + it just clips!!!
i just dunno what to do!!!!!! could it be the amp?? or am i just a complete idiot and missing something here?? PLEASE HELP!!!

Osillascope...
You say it cilps... How do you know. What are the symtoms you are getting? Also is it modded?
I would say best thing to do is talk to JT or Lauf, who ever you bought it from as they know the amp.

i don't think it would be a deck problem? it seems to work with other amps.?? so i can't really saee it being that! plus if it was the processor wouldn't work because it's hooked up to the subwoofer rca on the rear of the deck, because it's the "non-fading" line!
also it can't be the woofers i don't belive! because even if i hook up both 12's either in series of parellel the amp still clips, or cuts-out, whatever it does! the subs hardly move before it starts to clip!

well it just cuts out! i turn it up and it cuts in and out! i dunno if that's clipping, but i know it's not supposed to do that!
the amplifier plays fine at very low levels. then at middle, to higher levels like when i try to burp it won't play at all, or it will cut out within 1 second of the burp. i can't figure it out.. maybe it's not clipping, but why is it cutting out then??
