Any thoughts? From the specs it looks like a pretty good SQL subwoofer. I am looking for something similar to the IDMAX but louder. I think two of these in the right box with about 1500 Wrms a peice on them might do the trick and be louder than the 3 12 i have now??

I own/run this driver. I actually had 2 of them myself, but I was happy with just the one.........kinda scared to run the 2 for a daily driver.

It'll blow your mind!!

I own Max's as well, the Crystal is just on a different level all together bro.!!!

Max's are nice, dont get me wrong..........but they dont have enough compared to the CMPx2 15.

I've heard nothing but excellent things about the CMPx2. Have never gotten to play with one yet though but would not hesitate in picking one up if i was in the market.

After i have ran them for about a year or so, a girl is buying them for the same as what i put into them... or else i would definately do so.

Also i am kind of ready for something else. Although i love the Max's. I want something different.

What kind of power do they REALLY need? I am looking for a daily driver vehicle, that gets loud. (hopefully over 150) and yet i want it to sound decent at least. Do you think the JBL BPx2200.1 will push them..? or do they need more. Also...What kind of box type is recomended. I have a lot of space. Up to 10 cubes at least. I wanna do removable ports so i can swap it out real quick for comp.

If you want some in-depth info on the CMPx2 lineup, email Johnny Alvarado at http://www.powerbassusa.com/ he used to work for Crystal and helped design many of their speakers and subs. He is very knowledgable, and can probably give you lots of info on getting the subs to work their best for your application. Good luck.
