For those of you who are just joining the informational threads, this is all to try to get a Street B 2000 Ford Explorer as loud as possible.

Deck used was an alpine cda7894, with no line driver. the first amps tried were the visonik v4000xd's wired at 1.4ohms, and the two treo 12" csx's in box 2(see pic below) this hit 148.8 Then proceeded to the Visonik v900xd's at .35 ohm each. it hit 150.3 in box two as well. so we went on to the earthquake d3's wired at .35ohm, and hit 151.7 So the D3's were the decided on amp.

Changing to box 3(also pic at bottom) the mic jumped a whopping .2 dB, to hit 151.9 so finally were boxes#1 which are somewhat modded already. Let a burp go, and the mic was a 154.6 with the truck off. very happy with the outcome we called it an afternoon, and will go back to it later today trying a single 12 in the rabbit for fun, and well as work on these boxes to possibly get them even louder. see what happens when a line driver is added to the formula another day..

i want to see more tests and more pics.

Question: how wide are the boxes for #1? how did u get the flares not to touch? i had to cut my flares down abit so they dont overlap eachother on the outside. this is one of my boxes in this pic, look at how i had to cut the flares:

Yuli - now that's a scary picture

I'm going to guess his boxes are about 16" wide
