db?

Anyone know if there's a place i can get the SPL of my car tested other than a competition? I'm not really goin for SPL but I'd like to have a general idea of what i'm hitting, and i really don't want to spend lots of money on a meter. I live in Regina, SK. Thanks.

Just go to a damn show man.
Why is everyone so scared they are going to lose? OMFG turns out my stereo isnt as loud as i think and now that i went to a competition im a little smarter from it and made some new friends. How horrible would that be?

why would u even go to a competition? thats for geeks and loosers who never get laid. u dont even need to know what your car hits, when at local tim's u can just make up a number. no one will ever know b/c they also made up their db numbers. i run into cool guys like that all the time, they ask me what i hit so i tell them what i really hit, then they give me one of those "yah it's ok" looks and proceed to tell me that they hit 20 or so decibles more, and that i should have gotten JL instead cuz thats what they are runnin.

lol if i entered a show it would be for SQ, cuz i've got 2 12" infinitys in a sealed box powered by 200wrms each (only about 2/3 of what they're rated for). Ain't gonna be getting much SPL out of that. Plus i have no idea where there would be one in my city, and i woudln't want to travel.

ps. is there cash prizes for winning shows?
