I hear you on that one bro. But try to look on the positive side, atleast we have a place that's not a 25 hour drive.
realistically if you do not have a regionals 3x the turn out at finals will be soft.
although it would suck not to get anything BUT you have to be expecting to win the regionals if you are attending WORLD finals, no? like I am exepcting to win the regionals, thus I am expecting a trophy.
i say bring on more competition. Winning in the lane is better than any trophy i can take home. maybe next year finals venues will get announced earlier than 2 months before and more guys will work towards getting the points so the finals event does not have to get filled in with "filler" competitors.

No bitching from my end...Ive never been to world finals and im going to make the best of it. Il be in the lanes with the top guys from other regions and I have the opportunity to show them Im not just the king on my own block (figuratively)
I will save any bitching until finals have passed, If i feel i got screwed I will know not to invest like i did previously....Keep in mind, most of us have never had tough competition as were on top in our region's. Having real competition from other elite's is more than enough reason for me to go, i need to prove to myself why im doing this spl thing.
