DB testing

I just called my local (largest) audio shop in Windsor and NO-ONE in Windsor does DB testing! WTF!! Anyone know of a place near Windsor that I can test my system before going to Lindsay, on April 26th?

Man, that's pretty sad if I have to go to Michigan just to get tested, but I might. Any idea on a contact?

i would say just save it for the show. i only tested for bass race and i still did db drag. my buddy just showed up with his caravan and with no testing at all he ended up second is street stock, and he only had two cvrs. from what i can see in your setup you'll probably do at least as well

Unfortunately I've got a lot of studying up to do on the whole comp thing. I've had systems for 15 years and never actually participated in a comp. I need to find out where I fit in first of all .... I don't think its street stock because I've got Dynamat Xtreme on 5 doors. I thought I read something somewhere about damping material??? NO IDEA AT ALL. But my wifee said I can come out and play, so it's gonna be fun. She's actually trying to get the day off to come also.

Look forward to meeting all of you. I might not post on many things but I read CCA threads for hours.

you can check the termpro website for info on what class you fall into. i know for bass race it doesn't matter what you have because you have to have control over your system. typically people try to qualify for 129.9 or 139.9, and i say typically because at the show i went to on the 5th those two classes had the most competition.

for db drag i think you would be in street c because of the 3 12''s, but i'm not 100% sure

Hmmmmm, Street C because I have 3 12's. Now is it the 3 or the 12's. Lets face it W6's weren't made to get very loud.... There are others with 3 12's that will blow my van to pieces. I just want to find out what its got. Unfortunately, I won't be able to upgrade my sub amp before the comp. :-(

Yeah I'm pretty sure it would be Street C, 3x12s and cast baskets. Damn I was hoping you would be Street A. I need some competition I have a chance of beating. LOL Pull 2 of your subs or get a couple 10s and go in Street A. LOL Bassrace you should be able to do 139.9, 129.9 for sure. I hit 140.1 with 2x10s and 1100 watts total in dbDrag. Same as you no testing, practice etc, took 2nd in 139.9 bassrace. I am going to try and get the guys from TO. to head up together, you can meet up with us and go too.

Sounds good, if I can meet up with you guys in TO that will save me from getting lost in Lindsay. I have to say, I've never been there before. See "cast baskets" has something to do with my class?? Wow you guys are going to have a blast with me. I've got a lot to learn, but definitely looking forward to it.
