Burped as low as .5 ohms, ran 2 daily at one ohm no problem. Sold one to a friend (this was a couple of years ago) and he still has it running at one ohm daily with no probs...seems to me that certain D2's were better than others as the ones I had never had any problems, but I know a lot of guys who blew them up regularily (Yuli).
BUT I wouldn't recommend running it, or any amp daily at .5.

Yes the D2 aka shredder, got its name because it would destroy subs, not due to big power, bt because of its very very dirty power. There are 2 kinds of D2s the black ones and the grey ones. I hear the blacks were stronger, that is what i had, but they were very inconsistant in comps.

They are good amps for the money though. Although I must say that the D3s are wayyy better as they are solid as a rock and the D2s you worry constantly if today is the day it will die.

doesnt taliban use re-furbished D2's to conduct a suicide attacks? just install 50 of those into one car, drive by a place and crank the volume so there is some strain on the amps.........BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
