Estimated SPL anyone

I have a clarion dual 2 ohm PXW 1550 (2005) rated at 500wRMS
Its in a 2.5cu box tuned to 35hz
Im running it off of a clarion DXP1800 with 800wRMS and it is pretty loud, hard to sit in there with it cranked
Can anyone give me an educated guess on what #s I would be hitting

Yeah, I would guess around high 30's, low 40's.

Why not go to a competition sometime and after its done, just ask if you can have your car metered? Its usually no skin off of anybodies back.

I will have to do that I dont think there are too many comps around here though Ill have to ask at stereo shops around halifax/dartmouth NS
A buddy of mine used to have an SPL meter but im not sure if he has it anymore or how accurate it was
anyone know of anything happening in Nova Scotia like that ?
If I tuned the box higher it would probably be louder too but that can wait as I just use it for a daily driver

Yeah... tuning it higher won't make sense. It might make it meter higher, but if it's for daily listening then why bother?

135-140 is plenty loud for a daily driver
