one low level RCA channel gets flipped out of phase to run a second amplifier channel hooked up on the opposite side a load..... you get 2x the voltage and power into 2x the load...

Okay thanks.
So after strapping, the impedance the amplifiers can handle will most likely be double? 1ohm before=2ohm after strapped
Can anyone recommend an external unit they have used?

yup...

external units arn't very common.... your best bet might be to find an external crossover with a phase switch and set the gain so its putting out the same amount of voltage as its getting... just 180 out of phase...

p.s. make sure your amps are monoblocks first

Well I just happen to have a Earthquake Phase Four that should work nicely then.
I'm pretty certain the Ultimate T3-1000d's are monoblocks with just two sets of RCA inputs and two speaker output terminals.

Hifonics is coming out with an "MLT" or something similar, designed to strap non-strappable amps

the ultimate T3-1000D IS a mono block but the speaker output terminals are NOT l & r. (even if they are there they have been internaly bridged) you use the neg from one side and the pos from the other.

I can't find the product manual for this unit on the net yet. So I'm wondering if anyone can determine how it links up to Five (5) amplifiers? I'd like to get my 15" Maxximus ordered up and I need to figure out what cone/voice coil configuration to order and if its even possible to link four T3-1000d's to run one dual voice coil.

Getting a look at the owners manual sure would be nice.
