I was reading a conspiracy page and it had some inside info. I think that the dbjams CD was specially programed to have a 30 second load delay as a counter terrorist measure implenented with the United States department of homeland security in collaberation with XM satellite radio and Wayne Harris. In the chance of a terrorist trying to use extremely loud bass frequencies to attack the security of the united states citizens there attempts will be foiled because all of their precise planning will be thrown off by the incredibly long delay in the deck. This will give the FBI enough time to track the attacker using XM satalite tracking and be able to take them down before anyone is the wiser. It all makes sense now, lets just hope Alpine can't crack the code!

Ive found a solution to all the problems of db jams 8 not playing in alpine decks....
buy a Kenwood deck...plays on all the decks...even the entry level deck...my favorite is the KDC-MP4028... the damn thing will not skip at 159dB in the dash board

Sucks to hear that, Ryan, I didn't know that was the case with you at the triple. Worked in my deck just fine, Pioneer DEH-P4600MP, just took a tad bit longer than normal to load.
